Prepare the chicken and coating
Cut chicken into strips and season. Mix flour with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Beat egg with milk for egg wash.

Dip chicken strips first in seasoned flour, then in egg wash, and finally in breadcrumbs. Press to ensure even coating.
