Instructions
Freeze Nutella scoops
Scoop about 6 large spoonfuls of Nutella onto a parchment-lined plate or tray and freeze until firm.
Cream butter and sugars
In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add egg and vanilla
Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until combined.
Add dry ingredients
Add flour, baking soda, and salt, mixing just until combined, then fold in chocolate chips.
Prepare pie pan
Preheat the oven to 175°C and grease a 9-inch pie pan.
Form stuffed cookie balls
Divide the dough into 6 large portions, flatten each slightly, place a frozen Nutella scoop in the center, and wrap the dough around it, sealing completely.
Bake cookie pie
Arrange the stuffed dough balls in the prepared pie pan side by side until filled.
Cool and serve
Let cool before serving so the gooey Nutella center can set slightly.
