Homemade Kinder Delice Cake
Ingredients
Sponge
egg (room temperature)

cocoa powder

vegetable oil

Cream
mascarpone (cold)
250 g
heavy cream (cold)
100 g
powdered sugar
70 g
Glaze
chocolate
50 g
heavy cream (room temperature)

Instructions
Prepare the sponge batter
Mix eggs and sugar until pale and fluffy.
Add dry ingredients and oil
Fold in flour, cocoa powder, oil and vanilla essence gently.
Bake the sponge
Pour batter into parchment-lined baking dish and bake at 180°C for 12-15 minutes.
Cool the sponge
Let the sponge cool completely before assembling.
Make the cream filling
Whip mascarpone, cold cream, powdered sugar and flavorings until smooth.
Prepare the chocolate glaze
Melt chocolate then stir in room-temperature cream until glossy.
Assemble the cake
Split sponge horizontally, spread cream, top with second layer and pour glaze.
Chill the cake
Refrigerate at least 4 hours for the layers to set.
