Instructions
Prepare the chicken
Cut the chicken breast into small bite-sized pieces approximately 2 cm in size.
Marinate the chicken
Place chicken pieces in a bowl and cover with buttermilk. Mix well and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
Prepare the coating
In a separate bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly combined.
Coat the chicken
Remove chicken pieces from buttermilk, let excess drip off, then toss them in the seasoned flour mixture until fully coated.
Heat the oil
Pour sunflower oil into a deep pot or wok and heat to 175°C for frying.
Fry the chicken
Fry chicken pieces in batches for 3-4 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Do not overcrowd the pot.
Drain and serve
Remove chicken from oil and place on paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
