Mix the dough

Combine flour, butter, and sugar in a bowl and rub the butter into the dry ingredients until a dough forms.

Break off one-third of the dough. Tint the remaining two-thirds with red food coloring and the final third with green food coloring.

Roll and cut the dough

Roll the red dough to 0.5 cm thickness and cut out rounds. Roll the green dough to 0.5 cm thickness and cut out stars, ensuring equal numbers of each shape.

Cut a star shape into the top of each red round and insert a green star to create the tomato design.
