Instructions
Prepare the marinade
Combine buttermilk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, egg, vinegar, and hot sauce in a bowl.
Marinate the chicken
Add chicken breasts to the marinade and ensure they are fully coated. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Prepare the coating
Mix flour, cornstarch, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in a shallow bowl.
Coat the chicken
Remove chicken from marinade and dredge each piece thoroughly in the flour mixture, pressing to adhere.
Fry the chicken
Heat oil in a deep pan to 175°C. Fry chicken pieces until golden and crispy, about 6-8 minutes per side.
Make the hot honey glaze
Melt butter in a small pan, add honey, hot sauce, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, brown sugar, and paprika. Stir until combined.
Glaze the chicken
Brush or drizzle the hot honey glaze over the fried chicken pieces while hot.
Prepare the sauce
Mix mayonnaise with black pepper, garlic powder, chopped parsley, and lemon juice.
Assemble the burgers
Place glazed chicken on buns, add sauce and desired toppings. Serve immediately.
