Instructions
Prepare chicken marinade
Mix buttermilk with egg, vinegar, hot sauce and all seasonings to create a flavorful marinade.
Marinate the chicken
Cut chicken breast into burger-sized pieces and submerge in the marinade. Let it rest in the refrigerator.
Prepare the dredge mixture
Combine flour, cornstarch and all dry seasonings in a large bowl to create the crispy coating.
Bread the chicken
Remove chicken from marinade, letting excess drip off, then coat thoroughly in the flour mixture. Press to adhere.
Fry the chicken
Heat oil to 175°C and fry chicken pieces until golden brown and crispy, about 6-8 minutes per side.
Make hot honey glaze
Melt butter in a small pan, add honey, hot sauce, brown sugar and all seasonings. Simmer until thickened.
Prepare burger sauce
Mix mayonnaise with garlic powder, black pepper, chopped parsley and a squeeze of lemon juice.
Assemble the burgers
Spread sauce on toasted buns, add crispy chicken, drizzle with hot honey glaze, and serve immediately.
