Crispy Honey Butter Fried Chicken

Honey Butter Sauce
garlic (minced)

Instructions
Prepare the chicken
Cut chicken into bite-size cubes and place in a bowl. Add egg, soy sauce, and white pepper. Mix well.
Coat the chicken
Add cornstarch to the bowl and coat the chicken pieces well.
First fry
Fry the chicken pieces in hot oil for 1-2 minutes. Set aside to cool.
Second fry
Fry the chicken again for 2-3 minutes until crispy golden brown.
Prepare the sauce
Heat pan to medium, melt 2 tbsp butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
Make the honey butter sauce
Reduce heat to low, add soy sauce, honey, sugar, remaining butter, sesame oil, cornstarch slurry, and optional crushed chillies. Stir until thick and glossy.
Combine and serve
Add fried chicken to the sauce, toss well. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and spring onions.
