Prepare vegetables

Chop onion and mince garlic. Remove seeds from chili peppers if desired.

Sauté aromatics

Heat olive oil in a pan, add chopped onion and garlic, cook until fragrant.

Add tomatoes and simmer

Add crushed tomatoes, chili peppers, vinegar, sugar and salt. Bring to a boil then reduce heat.

Transfer sauce to blender and blend until smooth. Cool before bottling.
