Prepare the cucumbers

Wash cucumbers and slice off ends. Place between wooden chopsticks and make angled cuts all the way down, then flip and repeat for spiral effect.

Salt and rest cucumbers

Place spiral-cut cucumbers in a bowl, sprinkle with sea salt to draw out moisture. Let rest for 5 minutes, then rinse and drain well.

Prepare the dressing

In a separate bowl, combine black vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, minced garlic, and chili oil to create the flavorful dressing.
