Prepare ingredients

Dice the onion and mince the garlic. Slice the sausages into bite-sized pieces.

Cook the pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain.

Brown the sausages

Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add sliced sausages and cook until golden brown and crispy on the edges.

Sauté aromatics

Add diced onion to the same pan with sausages. Cook until softened and translucent, about 3 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds until fragrant.
