These rich, chewy double chocolate chip cookies are a soft, gooey, irresistible treat filled with cocoa powder and semi-sweet chocolate chips.

Instructions
Preheat oven
Preheat the oven to 175°C and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
Mix dry ingredients
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
Cream butter and sugars
In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add egg and vanilla
Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
Combine wet and dry ingredients
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
Fold in chocolate chips
Gently fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
Scoop cookie dough
Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 5cm apart.
Bake cookies
Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are set but centers still look slightly underdone.
Cool cookies
Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
