Instructions
Activate yeast
Warm the milk slightly and dissolve the yeast and sugar in it. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
Mix the dough
In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, eggs, and the activated yeast mixture. Mix until a shaggy dough forms.
Knead and add butter
Knead the dough for 5 minutes, then gradually add softened butter and continue kneading for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
First rise
Cover the bowl with a clean towel or plastic wrap and let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1-1.5 hours.
Shape the buns
Punch down the dough, divide into 8 equal pieces, shape each into a smooth ball, and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Second rise
Cover the shaped buns and let them rise again until puffy, about 30-45 minutes.
Egg wash and bake
Preheat oven to 180°C. Brush buns with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
