Instructions
Prepare marinade
Combine buttermilk with all seasonings to create flavorful marinade for chicken.
Marinate chicken
Add chicken tenders to buttermilk marinade and let soak for at least 30 minutes.
Prepare coating
Mix flour, cornstarch and spices in a separate bowl to create crispy coating.
Double coat chicken
Coat each tender in flour mixture, dip back in marinade, then coat again for extra crispy crust.
Rest coated tenders
Let coated chicken rest 5 minutes before frying to help coating adhere better.
Heat oil for frying
Heat oil to 175°C in a deep pot or fryer for optimal crispy results.
Fry chicken tenders
Fry chicken in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per batch.
Rest fried chicken
Transfer chicken to wire rack and let rest a few minutes to maintain maximum crispiness.
Prepare hot honey glaze
Mix hot honey, BBQ sauce, melted butter and salt until smooth and glossy.
Glaze chicken tenders
Brush hot honey BBQ glaze generously over crispy chicken while still warm.
Serve immediately
Serve hot with ranch dressing on the side for dipping.

Storage
Best enjoyed fresh. Reheating in oven helps maintain crispiness better than microwave.
