Retro Burger
Classic American-style cheeseburger with juicy beef patty, melted cheddar, fresh vegetables and tangy sauces on a toasted bun.

Instructions
Prepare vegetables
Slice onion and tomato into thin rounds. Wash and dry lettuce leaves.
Form beef patties
Divide ground beef into 4 equal portions. Shape each into a patty about 1.5 cm thick. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
Cook the patties
Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 3-4 minutes per side until desired doneness. Add cheese slices during the last minute to melt.
Toast the buns
Split buns and toast cut-side down in the same pan for 1-2 minutes until golden.
Assemble burgers
Spread mayonnaise and ketchup on bun bottoms. Layer lettuce, patty with cheese, tomato, onion, and pickles. Top with bun.

Assemble just before serving for best texture. Patties can be frozen raw up to 3 months.
