BBQ Cheeseburger Pickle Poppers

Burger seasoning (dry)

BBQ rub (dry)

Instructions
Cook the ground beef
Cook down the ground beef in a pan, seasoning with burger seasoning. Add some BBQ sauce and mix well.
Mix filling ingredients
Transfer the cooked beef to a bowl and mix with shredded cheese, diced onion, and BBQ rub.
Prepare the pickles
Cut the pickles in half lengthwise and scrape out the centers to create boats for the filling.
Stuff the pickles
Pack each pickle boat with the beef and cheese mixture.
Wrap with bacon and season
Wrap each stuffed pickle with a slice of bacon and sprinkle with brown sugar.
Grill or bake the poppers
Cook on a pellet grill or in the oven at 135°C for 45 minutes. Brush with BBQ sauce and cook for an additional 15-30 minutes until the bacon is crispy.
