Prepare butter and sugars

Place softened butter, brown sugar and white sugar in a mixing bowl.

Add egg and vanilla

Crack in the egg and add vanilla extract, then mix until smooth.

Mix dry ingredients

Add flour, baking soda, and a pinch of salt. Stir until just combined.

Add chocolate pieces

Chop the Kinder chocolate bar into small chunks and fold into the dough together with chocolate chips.

Scoop small portions of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake at 180°C for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden.
