Cheesy Bread Roll

Buttery soft bread rolls filled with a generous amount of melted cheddar and parmesan cheese, perfect for breakfast, brunch, or as a savory snack.

all-purpose flour

milk (warm)

active dry yeast

Filling
cheddar cheese (grated)
200 g
parmesan cheese (grated)
50 g
garlic (minced)
3 cloves
butter (softened)

fresh parsley (chopped)

Instructions
Activate yeast
Mix warm milk with sugar and yeast in a bowl. Let stand until foamy.
Mix the dough
Add flour, melted butter, and salt to the activated yeast mixture. Knead until smooth and elastic.
First rise
Cover dough and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
Prepare filling
Mix softened butter with minced garlic, chopped parsley, grated cheddar and parmesan.
Shape the rolls
Roll dough into a rectangle, spread filling evenly, then roll tightly and cut into 8 equal pieces.
Second rise
Place rolls in a baking dish, cover, and let rise for 30 minutes until puffy.
Bake
Bake in preheated oven at 180°C for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Serve
Cool slightly, then serve warm while the cheese is still gooey.
