Instructions
Prepare Equipment and Ingredients
Preheat oven to 90°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Ensure egg whites are at room temperature.
Whip Egg Whites
In a clean bowl, whip egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar while continuing to whip until stiff, glossy peaks form.
Add Vanilla
Gently fold in vanilla extract until evenly distributed.
Pipe Meringue
Transfer meringue to piping bag and pipe small cookies onto prepared baking sheet. Optionally sprinkle crushed Oreo cookies on top.
Bake Meringues
Bake at 90°C for 90-120 minutes until completely dry and crisp. Do not open oven during baking.
Cool Completely
Turn off oven and let meringues cool completely inside with door slightly ajar.
