MnM Cookie Caramel Slice

Cookie base
butter (softened)

brown sugar

Caramel
unsalted butter
125 g
sweetened condensed milk

Golden Syrup
80 ml

Milk Chocolate melts

Instructions
Prepare cookie base dough
Cream butter with sugars, add eggs, then mix in flour, cornstarch, baking soda, salt and mini M&Ms.
Bake cookie base
Preheat oven to 180°C and press dough into lined baking dish. Bake 10-12 minutes until lightly golden.
Make caramel
Combine butter, condensed milk and golden syrup in saucepan. Stir over medium heat 7-8 minutes until thick and golden.
Bake caramel layer
Pour hot caramel over baked base. Return to oven for 10 minutes until bubbly.
Add chocolate topping
Melt milk chocolate, pour over caramel, sprinkle mini M&Ms and refrigerate 6+ hours.
Storage
Store in airtight container. Best served chilled or at room temperature.
