Instructions
Preheat oven
Preheat oven to 175°C.
Cream butter and sugars
In a large bowl, mix the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and eggs until smooth.
Add dry ingredients
Stir in the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt until just combined.
Fold in chocolate chips
Fold in both the semi sweet and milk chocolate chips.
Scoop cookie dough
Scoop dough into 2 tablespoon sized balls and place about 5 cm apart on an ungreased baking sheet.
Bake cookies
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until lightly golden.
Cool and finish
Let cool slightly, add flaky sea salt on top if desired, then transfer to a rack to finish cooling.
