Marry Me Shrimp Pasta

Instructions
Cook the pasta
Cook pasta in salted boiling water according to package directions until al dente. Reserve 120 ml pasta water, then drain.
Prepare the shrimp
Cook the breaded shrimp according to package instructions until golden and crispy.
Make the sauce base
Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Build the creamy sauce
Add sun-dried tomatoes, chicken broth, heavy cream, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
Add cheese and spinach
Stir in grated parmesan until melted. Add spinach and cook until wilted, about 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
Combine and serve
Add cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat, adding reserved pasta water as needed. Top with crispy shrimp and fresh basil. Serve immediately.
