Instructions
Season the Chicken
Pat the chicken tenders dry with paper towels. Season with the seasonings evenly over every chicken tender.
Stuff with Cheese
Poke a small lengthwise hole right down the middle of each chicken tender. Insert a mozzarella cheese stick and pinch the chicken meat around the opening so the cheese is completely hidden inside.
Prepare Breading Station
Set up two bowls: beaten eggs and crushed cornflakes. Dip stuffed tender into eggs, then press firmly into cornflakes until it has a thick, crunchy coat.
Pan Fry the Tenders
Heat cooking oil in a pan over medium heat (180°C). Fry the tenders for 4 to 5 minutes per side until the cornflake crust is golden and crunchy.
Air Fry Alternative
Place the tenders in your air fryer basket, spray them lightly with cooking oil, and cook at 200°C for 12 to 14 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Make Hot Honey Sauce
Whisk the hot honey sauce ingredients together in a small pan over low heat for 1 minute until warm.
Make Creamy Dipping Sauce
Combine mayonnaise, dijon mustard, honey, ketchup, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, and fresh lemon juice in a bowl. Whisk until smooth.
Serve
Brush or toss the freshly cooked, hot chicken tenders in the warm hot honey sauce. Serve immediately with your dipping sauce on the side.
