Instructions

Season the chicken

Coat chicken breasts with olive oil and all seasonings. Let marinate in the refrigerator for 15–30 minutes.

Cook the chicken

Heat a large pot over medium-high heat. Cook chicken 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove and rest.

Cook the pasta

In the same pot add rigatoni, heavy cream, chicken broth, butter and seasonings. Stir, cover and simmer until al dente, stirring occasionally. Add more liquid if needed.

Add the cheese

Once pasta is cooked, add shredded mozzarella and cheddar. Stir until melted and creamy.

Finish and serve

Slice rested chicken and place on top of creamy pasta. Garnish with parsley, Parmesan, or red pepper flakes if desired.
