Instructions
Cream butter
Whisk cold cubed butter in a large mixing bowl until slightly creamy.
Add sugars
Add caster sugar and light brown sugar to the butter and whisk until well combined and fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla
Add the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract, then whisk until fully incorporated.
Add dry ingredients and chocolate
Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and chopped Kinder chocolate chunks. Gently mix until just combined.
Portion dough
Divide dough into 90-95 g balls.
Freeze dough balls
Place cookie dough balls on a tray and freeze for at least 30 minutes (overnight for best results).
Preheat air fryer
Preheat air fryer to 175°C.
Bake cookies
Bake the frozen dough balls for 10-12 minutes until tops are lightly golden while centers remain soft.
Add topping and cool
Remove from air fryer, top with extra Kinder chunks and chocolate chips, then let cool inside the air fryer for 10 minutes before removing.
Serve
Serve warm with ice cream.

Storage
Store baked cookies in airtight container at room temperature for 2 days. Freeze unbaked dough balls in freezer bag for up to 30 days and bake straight from frozen.
