Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies
Soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies with golden edges and gooey centers.

Cookie Dough

butter (room temperature)

granulated sugar

brown sugar (packed)

baking soda

Instructions
Cream butter and sugars
Beat the butter with both sugars until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla
Mix in the eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.
Combine dry ingredients
Whisk together flour, baking soda and salt, then gradually add to wet mixture.
Fold in chocolate chips
Stir in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
Scoop and chill dough
Scoop cookie dough onto a lined baking sheet and chill for 30 minutes.
Bake the cookies
Bake at 175°C for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden.
