Ingredients
Dough
unsalted butter (softened)

granulated sugar

light brown sugar (packed)

Instructions
Cream butter and sugars
Beat softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla
Mix in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.
Combine dry ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
Mix dry into wet
Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
Fold in chocolate chips
Gently fold chocolate chips into the cookie dough.
Chill dough
Cover dough and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes.
Preheat oven
Preheat oven to 190°C.
Scoop and bake
Scoop dough onto parchment-lined baking sheets and bake 9-11 minutes until edges are golden.
Cool and serve
Cool cookies on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Storage
Store baked cookies in an airtight container. Dough can be frozen up to 3 months.
