Chicken Alfredo

Instructions
Prepare the chicken
Cut the chicken breast into thin strips or bite-sized pieces.
Cook the pasta
Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the fettuccine until al dente.
Cook the chicken
Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until golden and fully cooked.
Make the Alfredo sauce
In the same pan, melt butter, add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
Finish the sauce
Add grated parmesan cheese to the cream sauce and stir until melted and smooth. Season with salt and black pepper.
Combine and serve
Drain the cooked pasta and add it to the sauce along with the cooked chicken. Toss everything together until well coated.
