Preheat oven and prepare pan

Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a square baking pan with parchment paper.

Mix the brownie batter

In a bowl, combine melted butter and sugar, then add eggs, lemon zest and juice. Mix until smooth.

Add dry ingredients

Fold in flour, baking powder and salt until just combined. Do not overmix.

Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake at 180°C for 25-28 minutes until the edges are golden and a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.

Prepare lemon glaze

Whisk powdered sugar with lemon juice and melted butter until smooth and pourable.
