Creamy Garlic Pasta

Pasta
tagliatelle pasta

hard cheese (grated)

Instructions
Cook the onion
Cook chopped onion in oil or butter on medium heat until translucent.
Add garlic
Add garlic to the pan and cook until soft, adding salt.
Add tomato paste
Add tomato paste with a bit of water to create a thick paste.
Add cream
Pour in the double cream and reduce heat to medium-low.
Season the sauce
Add herbs and spices and let the sauce simmer.
Cook the pasta
Boil tagliatelle 2 minutes over recommended time on high heat.
Add pasta water to sauce
Halfway through boiling, add some pasta water to loosen the sauce.
Add cheese to sauce
Add some cheese to the sauce.
Combine pasta and sauce
Add cooked pasta into the sauce and mix well.
Taste and adjust seasoning
Taste and season to your liking if needed.
Finish and serve
Add grated cheese, let it melt and serve.
