Instructions
Cook the pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta until al dente.
Prepare the sauce base
Heat olive oil in a large pan, add minced garlic and diced onion, sauté until fragrant.
Cook the sausage
Add sliced sausage to the pan and fry until browned.
Make the creamy sauce
Pour in the heavy cream, season with salt and black pepper, and bring to a gentle simmer.
Combine and finish
Add the drained pasta and grated parmesan to the sauce, toss everything together until creamy and well coated.
Serve
Serve immediately, optionally garnished with extra parmesan and fresh herbs.
