Creamy Garlic Chicken Parmesan Pasta

Instructions
Cook the pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta until al dente.
Prepare the chicken
Slice chicken breast into thin strips and season with salt and pepper.
Sear the chicken
Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until golden brown on all sides.
Make the garlic sauce
Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic to the same pan. Cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Create the creamy sauce
Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in grated parmesan until melted and sauce thickens.
Combine and finish
Add drained pasta to the sauce along with the cooked chicken. Toss everything together until well coated. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Serve
Serve immediately while hot with extra parmesan on the side.
