Tres Leches Cake

all-purpose flour (dry)

whole milk (cold)
200 ml
evaporated milk (cold)
200 ml
condensed milk (cold)
200 ml
Topping
heavy cream (cold)
300 ml
granulated sugar (dry)

Instructions
Prepare cake batter
Whisk eggs with sugar until pale, then fold in melted butter, flour and baking powder.
Bake the sponge
Pour batter into a greased baking dish and bake until golden and springy.
Mix tres leches
Combine whole milk, evaporated milk and condensed milk in a bowl.
Soak the cake
Poke holes in warm cake and slowly pour milk mixture over it until fully absorbed.
Whip cream topping
Beat cold cream with sugar until stiff peaks form.
Finish and serve
Spread whipped cream over soaked cake and chill before serving.
