Prepare the coating mix

Combine the flour, cornflour and all spices in a bowl for the chicken coating.

Prepare the egg wash

Crack the egg into a separate bowl and beat it until well combined.

Prepare the chicken

Slice the chicken breast into even strips for coating.

Cut strips of equal thickness to ensure even cooking

Coat the chicken

Dredge chicken strips in the flour-spice mix, then dip in egg, then coat again in flour mix for a double coating.

Air fry the chicken

Place coated chicken strips in the air fryer basket and cook at 180°C for 15 minutes, flipping halfway through.

Mix all sauce ingredients together in a bowl and refrigerate until ready to use.
