Cinnamon Roll French Toast Bites

cream cheese (room temperature)

Instructions
Prepare cinnamon butter
In a small bowl, mix softened butter, light brown sugar, and cinnamon until smooth.
Prepare cream cheese icing
In another bowl, mix softened butter, cream cheese, and icing sugar until smooth.
Prepare coating
Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon in a shallow bowl for coating.
Make egg mixture
Whisk together egg, milk, and vanilla extract in a bowl.
Cut and fill bread
Cut each bread slice into bite-sized pieces. Spread cinnamon butter on each piece and gently press to seal.
Dip in egg mixture
Dip each filled bread piece into the egg mixture, ensuring all sides are coated.
Coat in cinnamon sugar
Roll each dipped piece in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
Fry the bites
Heat a pan over medium heat. Fry the coated bites until golden brown on all sides, about 3-4 minutes total.
Serve with icing
Serve hot with cream cheese icing for dipping.
