15 g
walnuts (coarsely chopped)
50 g
Instructions
Preheat oven
Preheat the oven to 180°C with top and bottom heat.
Prepare the loaf pan
Grease a 12x25 cm loaf pan with butter. Line the base with a strip of parchment paper, leaving the ends hanging over the sides for easy removal.
Cream butter and sugars
In a large bowl, beat the butter together with both types of sugar until creamy.
Add eggs and mashed bananas
Add the eggs and the previously mashed bananas. Stir until all ingredients are incorporated.
Add flour and baking powder
Finally, add the flour and baking powder. Stir gently until no streaks remain and you have a homogeneous batter.
Fold in walnuts
Add the coarsely chopped walnuts and mix well to distribute evenly throughout the batter.
Bake the banana bread
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for approximately 40 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
