Instructions
Activate the yeast
Mix the warm milk, yeast, and sugar together. Let it sit for a few minutes until slightly foamy.
Make the dough
Add the egg, flour, salt, garlic powder, and parsley. Mix until a dough forms, then knead in the butter until smooth and elastic.
First rise
Cover and let rise for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
Prepare the filling
Mix all the filling ingredients together.
Shape the rolls
Divide the dough into 9 pieces. Flatten each piece into a circle, add about 1 tablespoon of the cheesy garlic filling to the center, then pinch the dough closed and roll into a ball.
Second rise
Place the balls seam-side down in a greased baking pan. Cover and let rise again until puffy.
Bake the rolls
Brush with egg wash and bake at 180°C for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown.
Finish and serve
Brush with a little melted garlic butter after baking and sprinkle with parsley. Enjoy.
