Maultaschen Salad (German Dumplings Salad)
Crispy air-fried German dumplings with fresh salad and creamy dressing
A unique German-inspired salad featuring Maultaschen (dumplings) cooked until crispy in an air fryer, tossed with fresh vegetables and a tangy herb dressing, topped with sour cream.

Instructions
Prepare Maultaschen
Cut the Maultaschen into bite-sized pieces.
Air fry Maultaschen
Place Maultaschen pieces in the air fryer and cook at 180°C for 12 minutes.
Crisp the bacon
Add bacon to the air fryer with Maultaschen and cook for another 5 minutes until crispy.
Make the dressing
Meanwhile, in a bowl whisk together olive oil, vinegar, lemon juice, sweet mustard, chopped dill, chives, salt, and pepper to make the dressing.
Prepare vegetables
Chop salad greens, bell pepper, cucumber, onion, and tomato into bite-sized pieces and add to the bowl with dressing. Toss to coat.
Combine and serve
Add the cooked Maultaschen pieces and crispy bacon to the salad. Gently mix everything together. Serve topped with a large spoonful of sour cream.

Salad is best eaten immediately. Vegetables will wilt if stored too long.
