Season the beef

Season the diced beef with garlic powder, black pepper, onion powder, and salt.

Cook the pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to boil and cook the protein penne pasta according to package directions until al dente.

Sear the beef

Heat light butter in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add seasoned beef and sear until browned on all sides.
