Instructions
Prepare Ingredients
Chop the onion, mince the garlic and ginger, chop the tomatoes and chili peppers.
Sauté the Base
Heat oil in a pot and add the chopped onion. Cook until golden brown.
Add Aromatics
Add garlic, ginger and chili peppers. Cook for 2 minutes until fragrant.
Incorporate Spices
Add turmeric, cumin and coriander. Stir well with the onion mixture.
Add Tomatoes
Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they break down.
Add Cooked Beef
Add the pre-cooked beef chunks and heat through for 5-7 minutes.
Simmer to Combine
Add water to cover the beef, cover and simmer for 10-15 minutes to let the flavors meld.
Serve
Serve the Bengali beef curry hot with white rice or naan bread.
