Chocolate Chip Cookies

Instructions
Preheat oven
Preheat oven to 190°C and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
Cream butter and sugars
In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla
Beat in eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
Mix dry ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
Combine wet and dry
Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined.
Add chocolate chips
Fold in chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
Scoop and bake
Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing 5cm apart.
Cool cookies
Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.

Storage
Store in airtight container. Freeze baked cookies for up to 3 months. Dough can be frozen for up to 3 months.
