Instructions
Soak rice
Rinse and soak basmati rice in water for 30 minutes.
Prepare nuts and raisins
Fry almonds, cashews and raisins in ghee until golden.
Cook chicken
Fry onions until golden, add ginger-garlic paste, tomatoes and spices. Cook chicken until tender.
Cook rice
Boil rice until 70% cooked, drain and set aside.
Assemble and steam
Layer rice and chicken in a pot, add saffron milk and fried nuts. Cover and steam 15 minutes.
Serve
Garnish with remaining nuts and raisins and serve hot.
