Instructions
Season the chicken
Season the thinly sliced chicken breast with Italian herbs, smoked paprika, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Prepare the pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to boil and cook the spiral pasta according to package directions until al dente.
Caramelize the onions
Heat olive oil in a large pan and add sliced brown onions. Cook slowly until deeply caramelized and golden brown.
Cook the chicken
Add seasoned chicken to the pan with caramelized onions. Cook until chicken is golden and cooked through.
Add aromatics and paste
Add the whole garlic bulb (top cut off) and tomato paste to the pan. Stir to combine and cook for 2 minutes.
Create the creamy sauce
Add light cream cheese, fat free evaporated milk, and sweet soy sauce. Stir until cream cheese melts and sauce becomes creamy.
Combine pasta and sauce
Add cooked pasta to the creamy sauce and toss to coat evenly. Add grated parmesan and fresh parsley.
Serve
Serve hot with optional toppings: chili crisp, extra grated parmesan, and fresh parsley.
