Greek salad with feta
Classic Greek salad (Horiatiki) with fresh vegetables, olives, feta cheese, and a simple olive oil dressing. Quick, refreshing, and authentic.

Base ingredients
Extra virgin olive oil

Dried oregano

Kalamata olives (pitted)

Feta cheese (cubed)

Instructions
Prepare vegetables
Wash all vegetables thoroughly. Cut cucumber into thick half-moon slices, tomatoes into wedges, thinly slice red onion and green bell pepper.
Mix salad
In a large bowl, combine all prepared vegetables. Add Kalamata olives. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with oregano and sea salt. Gently toss to combine.
Add feta and serve
Arrange cubed feta cheese on top of the salad. Do not toss. Serve immediately with crusty bread.
Storage
Best eaten fresh. If storing, keep feta separate and add just before serving. Do not freeze.
Notes
• Authentic Greek salad contains no lettuce. Use high-quality extra virgin olive oil and Greek feta for best flavor.
• Adjust salt carefully as feta and olives are salty.
