Homemade Thin Crust Pizza from Scratch

Instructions
Mix the dough
Combine flour, yeast, sugar and salt in a bowl. Add warm water and olive oil, then mix until a shaggy dough forms.
Knead the dough
Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Rest the dough
Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 20 minutes.
Preheat the oven
Preheat the oven to 250°C with a baking sheet or pizza stone inside.
Shape the crust
Roll or stretch the dough into a thin 30 cm round on parchment paper.
Add sauce
Spread tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1 cm border.
Add cheese
Scatter mozzarella evenly over the sauce and drizzle with olive oil.
Bake the pizza
Transfer the pizza (with parchment) onto the hot baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
Finish and serve
Remove from the oven, scatter fresh basil leaves, slice and serve immediately.
