Wagyu Beef Sukiyaki-Style Hot Pot

Broth
water

soy sauce

A5 Wagyu top sirloin
300 g
Chinese cabbage

mushroom

tofu
200 g
onion

Instructions
Prepare broth
In a pot, combine water, soy sauce and sugar. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat, stirring to dissolve sugar.
Prepare ingredients
Slice Wagyu into very thin strips. Cut cabbage into large pieces, slice onion, halve mushrooms, cut tofu into cubes.
Cook ingredients in broth
Add cabbage, onion and mushrooms to the simmering broth. Cook 5 minutes. Add tofu and simmer 3 more minutes.
Add beef and finish
Add thin Wagyu slices to the pot and gently stir. Cook 1-2 minutes until just pink. Add minced garlic in the last 30 seconds.
Serve hot
Ladle broth, beef and vegetables into bowls and serve immediately while hot.
Storage
