Hummus Base

Prepare Hummus Base

Drain and rinse chickpeas. Peel garlic cloves. Squeeze juice from lemon.

Blend Hummus

In a blender or food processor, combine chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, salt and 2-3 tbsp water. Blend until smooth and creamy.

Prepare Palette Shape

Spread hummus evenly on a round plate or flat serving dish to form a circular palette shape about 1 cm thick.

Create Paint Colors

Divide the plate into 6-8 sections. Arrange vegetable slices and olives in each section to create colorful 'paint' blobs.

Add Paintbrush Handles

Use carrot sticks or cucumber slices standing upright in the center as paintbrush handles.
