Cut the cheese

Cut mozzarella into sticks about 1 cm thick and 8 cm long.

Prepare the coating station

Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with cayenne pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, brown sugar, salt and black pepper.

Coat the mozzarella sticks

Dip each mozzarella stick first in flour, then beaten egg, and finally in the spiced breadcrumb mixture. Press gently to ensure breadcrumbs stick well.

Fry the sticks

Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan to 180°C. Fry the coated mozzarella sticks in batches for 2-3 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Do not overcrowd the pan.

Drain and serve

Remove the sticks from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
