Chocolate Chip Cookie Fries

Instructions
Brown the butter
Melt and brown the butter in a pan without burning, then let it cool to room temperature.
Mix wet ingredients
Whip cooled browned butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar. Add egg and whip again.
Prepare dry ingredients
In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda, salt, and vanillin together.
Combine ingredients
Add dry ingredients to wet mixture and mix with spatula to form cohesive dough.
Add chocolate chips
Fold in chocolate chips and mix one final time.
Chill the dough
Wrap dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Roll out the dough
Roll chilled dough between two sheets of parchment paper to approximately 18×22 cm rectangle.
Cut into fries
Cut into strips approximately 1.5 cm wide and arrange on parchment-lined baking sheet with spacing.
Bake the cookies
Bake in preheated 175°C oven for 9-10 minutes until edges are golden but tops not browned.
Shape while warm
If cookies spread or lose shape during baking, gently reshape edges with two knives immediately after removing from oven.
