Slow Cooker Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta

Instructions
Add chicken and broth to slow cooker
Place chicken breast in the slow cooker and pour chicken broth over it.
Season the chicken
Add minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the slow cooker.
Cook on low
Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours until chicken is tender and easily shredded.
Shred the chicken
Remove chicken from slow cooker and shred using two forks. Return shredded chicken to the slow cooker.
Add cream cheese and cream
Add cream cheese and heavy cream to the slow cooker. Stir until cream cheese is melted and sauce is smooth.
Cook the pasta
Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions in a pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Combine pasta and sauce
Add cooked pasta to the slow cooker with the chicken and sauce. Stir to combine.
Add parmesan cheese
Stir in grated parmesan cheese until melted and well incorporated.
Garnish and serve
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired. Serve hot directly from the slow cooker.
